Economic security threatened by mass extinction

Earth is in the midst of a mass extinction of life. 150-200 species of plant, insect, bird and mammal become extinct every day.The normal rate of extinction is one species every 2 days. This mass extinction is due to humankind’s unsustainable methods of production and consumption.
